Position Overview: This position will manage new business sales and new business sales staff which is responsible for Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Hockey, and Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse.

Inventory which is available for sale from the Army West Point FRMC include, but not limited to
a. Season tickets
b. Group tickets
c. Partial/Mini-Plan ticket packages
d. Single game tickets

e. Army A Club Donations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell and Service tickets for all ticketed sports, especially all premium seating accounts, major season and group ticket accounts
  • Management of 5 New Business Sales Consultants
  • Execute approved Annual Business and Sales Plan and Operating Budget
  • Assist Director with Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising a ticket sales team
  • Lead, motivate, develop, coach and retain sales staff for future succession and opportunity within the organization, and The Aspire Group globally
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the new Fan Relationship Management Center profitably while exceeding client expectations in revenue generation and customer service
  • Grow business each year
  • Manager will also be responsible for personal sales goals
  • Monitor, manage and evaluate sales staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with sales staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development
  • Identify, explore and research new sales opportunities to include season ticket and group sales target markets
  • Ongoing development of New Ticket Sales program in the following areas: season ticket, new business generation, sales leadership, development of sales strategies, sales training, development of best sales practices and results tracking and reporting
  • Assist with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions and programs
  • Serves as a member of the external operations team
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Possess a degree in relevant field, a minimum of 2-3 years of sports ticket sales experience with at least 1 year in Inside Sales/ Ticketing Management/ Team Leader preferred
  • Experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Team player with ability to work well with others and confidence when taking initiative.

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, with the opportunity to earn commission on meeting or exceeding personal ticket sales revenue goals and potential bonus for FRMC exceeding its revenue goalsCompetitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, other voluntary health benefits and 401k with matching program.

• Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the Paciolan database.
• Make 100 outbound calls daily.
• Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
• Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
• Ticketing software experience preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills

• Little or no ticket sales experience required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service
• Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads. 

• Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within Ticketing/ CRM database.
• Work home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with FRMC Leadership.
• Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans and group ticket plans.
• Make 90-100 outbound calls daily.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by FRMC Director.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics 
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
• Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
• Paciolan Ticketing software experience is a plus

About the National Sales Center (NSC): The Aspire Group's NSC specializes in "off-site" partnerships for college athletics, professional sport teams and championships for all over the United States.  Over 35 partners have worked out of the NSC over the past four years of operation, including but not limited to: NCAA Championship Events, US Open Tennis (USTA), Honda Battle of the Bands, Penn Relays and University of Southern California (USC) Trojans Football.  Located in beautiful Midtown Atlanta, the NSC is housed at the Aspire Group's head office where the pulse of the company originates from. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include performing outbound calls to build relationships with past and prospective fans, and in turn proactively sell ticket packages to qualified individuals and organizations.

 POSITION OVERVIEW:  

We are seeking a positive and passionate individual that is committed to personal development and critical thinking. The ideal Intern will receive direction from the Manager, Sales and Service. The Intern will have the opportunity to learn all phases of our sales and services processes for our current and prospective clients including but not limited to lead generation, proper sales techniques, cross selling multiple sports at one time, and sales tracking. You will have the opportunity to gain tangible working experience that builds a translatable work portfolio for your future career.

 WHAT WE OFFER: 

We will provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring, while challenging you to think more analytically and strategically through professional projects. To provide additional value, we offer all Interns the opportunity to participate in all Raise Your Game Executive Development Program session.  Upon conclusion of the Internship the Intern will have a deeper understanding of sales and services processes that separate our partners from everyone else, as well as business practices within the sport industry that are applicable to various industries.

 CURRICULUM:

  • Understand how the sales calendar is laid out and why certain things are available during different times of the year
  • Understand the use of the ticket sales database
  • Gain experience with using Ticketmaster Ticketing System to better understand the sales process
  • Learn and build potential business leads, and understand the development of sales prospects, and the process of turning prospect into client.
  • Acquire knowledge in the development of proposals and presentations for clients
  • Brainstorm and generate new ideas for marketing of tickets within the sports and entertainment industry
  • Think critically and strategically, ask questions, and challenge presumptions
  •  Foster and maintain the culture of learning and exploring  
  • Collaborate with Sales Staff on the Aspire team    

EXPECTATIONS FOR Internship:

  • Mentorship and guidance from the Manager, Sales and Service
  • Participation in weekly FRMC meetings conducted by the Manager, Sales and Service
  • Intensive training at the onset of the Internship regarding core Aspire philosophies, sport industry knowledge, and market research fundamentals
  • Development of a tangible working portfolio by the conclusion of the Internship

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in either an undergraduate, graduate college, university program in business, economics, marketing, market research, statistics, psychology, sport management (business) or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of the sales process
  • Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

This position will renew and sell ticketed sports including Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s Ice Hockey, and Men’s and Women’s Soccer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service all existing season ticket members
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and service
  • Facilitate season ticket member upgrades and additional seat requests
  • Grow sales significantly each week by attracting new business leads

• Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans and group ticket plans.
• Make 70-90 outbound calls daily.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by FRMC Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics

• Paciolan Ticketing software experience is a plus
