Position Overview:
The Director will operate at the CSU Athletics FRMC, based in Fort Collins, CO. The Director will oversee the Fan Relationship Management Center, and assist in ticket marketing, sales and service strategies with the CSU Senior Athletics Administration.

CSU Athletics FRMC will perform all outbound and inbound calls for CSU Athletics for all sports associated with Colorado State University.

Inventory which is available for sale from the FRMC include across ALL ticketed athletic sports includes, but is not limited to: 

a. Season tickets (renewals)
b. Season tickets (new business)
c. Season ticket upgrades and add-ons
d. Group tickets
e. Partial/ Mini-Plan ticket packages
f. Single game tickets
g. Stand alone Donations to CSU Athletics

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
• Develop and execute approved Annual Business and Sales Plan and Operating Budget.
• Oversight of Manager, Database Marketing & Analytics, (1) Team Leader – Sales & Service and a Ticket Sales & Service Team of at least 5 full-time Sales & Service Consultants. 
• Lead, motivate, develop, coach and retain sales and service staff for future succession and opportunity within the organization, and the Aspire Group globally.
• Run day-to-day operations of the CSU Athletics ticket sales and service department profitably while exceeding client expectations in revenue generation, customer service and effectively using financial resources to minimize expenses and manage the cost of sale.
• Grow business significantly each year.
• Act as the principal liaison of the Aspire Group with the Athletic Department.
• Monitor, manage and evaluate sales staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with sales staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development
• Develop, present and communicate Ticket Sales & Service strategies, procedures and processes.
• Identify, explore and research new sales opportunities to include season ticket and group sales target markets.
• Continually develop the Ticket Sales program in the following areas: ticket sales marketing and promotion, customer retention, new business generation, sales leadership, development of sales strategies, sales training, development of best sales practices and results tracking and reporting.
• Track and report daily, weekly and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability reports. Handle all bookkeeping, commission reporting, staff payroll processing etc. in close coordination with The Aspire Group.
• Assist with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions and programs.
• Provide recommendations to The Aspire Group and CSU Athletics on marketing, promotions, sales strategies and community ticket/ sampling programs etc.

Education and Experience:
• Possess a degree in relevant field, a minimum of 4-5 years of sports ticket sales experience with at least 2 year in Ticket Sales/ Ticketing Management preferred. Master’s degree in Business is a plus.
• Experience with Paciolan Ticketing software is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate equally well with executives, staff and fans at all levels and be comfortable in a very close supervisory and intense training environment.

  • Make 100 outbound calls daily.
  • Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events. Reps are expected to work games/events during each calendar year.

About the National Sales Center (NSC): The Aspire Group's NSC specializes in "off-site" partnerships for college athletics, professional sport teams and championships for all over the United States.  Over 35 partners have worked out of the NSC over the past four years of operation, including but not limited to: NCAA Championship Events, US Open Tennis (USTA), Honda Battle of the Bands, Penn Relays and University of Southern California (USC) Trojans Football.  Located in beautiful Midtown Atlanta, the NSC is housed at the Aspire Group's head office where the pulse of the company originates from. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include performing outbound calls to build relationships with past and prospective fans, and in turn proactively sell ticket packages to qualified individuals and organizations.

• Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans and group ticket plans.
• Make 100 outbound calls daily.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Position Overview: University of Maryland Athletics and The Aspire Group seek a teachable, positive and passionate individual who is committed to becoming a sports sales industry leader. Sales Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily via outbound phone calls. These calls will be supplemented with email marketing, face-to-face presentations and in-arena/stadium tours. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring of this career growth oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the Manager of Sales & Service, FRMC.  Sales Consultants will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary for them to "BE GREAT."

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include performing outbound calls for University of Maryland Athletics with a concentration on Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Men's & Women's Lacrosse & additional Olympic Sports.

Inventory which is available for sale from the University of Maryland FRMC include, but not limited to:

  • Premium FB, MBB/WBB & LAX Season Tickets
  • FB, MBB/WBB & LAX Season Tickets
  • Season Ticket Upgrades, Upsells & Add-ons
  • Group Ticket Packages & Fan Experience Packages For FB, MBB/WBB & LAX 
  • Partial, Mini-Plan & Flex Plan Ticket Packages For All Revenue Sports 
  • Single Game Tickets For All Revenue Sports 
  • Corporate Suites & Hospitality Business Packages For Select Events 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service.
  • Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads.
  • Be prepared to sell on behalf of University of Maryland Athletics & The Aspire Group.
  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the Paciolan (Ticketing) database.
  • Make 100 outbound calls daily.
  • Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events. Reps are expected to work between 25-50 games/events during each calendar year.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management or related field
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
  • Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative
  • Little or no ticket sales experience required
