Position Overview:  The Aspire Group seeks a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports sales industry leader.  Sales Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily via outbound phone calls. These calls will be supplemented with email marketing. Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) Leadership Team. Sales and Service Consultants will receive the tools, programs and systems necessary for them to "BE GREAT.".

This position will sell tickets for the Men’s Basketball Program at Cleveland State University.  Inventory available for sale from the Cleveland State FRMC include, but is not limited to: season tickets, group tickets, partial/mini-plan ticket packages, and single-game tickets. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service
  • Grows sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads
  • Maintains records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database
  • Makes 80-100 outbound calls daily
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by Management

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events. This position is expected to work games/events during each calendar year.
  • Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management or related field
  • Computer proficient (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail-oriented
  • Previous customer service or retail sales experience; displays a genuine desire to help people
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Ability to consistently promote a professional image and demeanor 
  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, with the opportunity to earn commission on meeting or exceeding ticket sales goals.  Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, other voluntary health benefits, and 401k with matching program.

  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within our CRM and ticketing database.
  • Work all home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game.
  • Make 100 outbound calls daily.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Team Leader.

4. Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the Archtics/Ticketmaster (Ticketing) database.
5. Make 80-120 outbound calls daily.
6. Availability to work athletic events including home games and special events.
7. Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
• Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
• Archtics or ticketing software experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills

Education and Experience:

  • Possesses a degree in a relevant field
