Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service
2. Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads.
3. Be prepared to sell on behalf of Louisiana Tech Athletics & The Aspire Group.
4. Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the Archtics/Ticketmaster (Ticketing) database.
5. Make 80-120 outbound calls daily.
6. Availability to work athletic events including home games and special events.
7. Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
• Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
• Archtics or ticketing software experience preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
• Professional image and demeanor
• Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative

Position Overview: 

The RFL (Rugby Football League) is developing a world-class membership and ticket sales force to be the first of its kind and aims to be a landmark program for the RFL.  The Aspire Group in conjunction with the RFL is seeking a Manager to operate and manage a staff from the Fan Relationship Management Centre in Manchester, England.  The Aspire Groups seeks a highly-motivated individual with a passion for creating and energizing a professional sales team. We are searching for a decisive, proven leader who is excited by entrepreneurial challenges and skilled in marketing, sales, and communications techniques.

The FRMC will perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for generating sales for from the following inventory:

  • Seasonal Membership (new business)
  • Group tickets
  • Partial/ Mini-Plan ticket packages
  • Individual major events as assigned
  • Additional items as directed by assigned RFL club

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The Manager will be responsible for both selling tickets as well as managing the ticket sales team of initially 6 but growing up to 20 Full-Time Sales Consultants.
  • Act as the principal liaison between the RFL & representative RFL Clubs that are represented by the FRMC.
  • Develop and execute approved Annual Business and Ticket Sales Plan and Operating Budget.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise a new ticket sales and service staff.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, coach and retain sales staff for future succession and opportunity within the organization, and The Aspire Group globally.
  • Run day-to-day operations of the Fan Relationship Management Center profitably, while exceeding client expectations in revenue generation and customer service.
  • Grow business significantly each year.
  • Monitor, manage and evaluate sales staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with sales staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development.
  • Develop, present and communicate Ticket Sales strategies, procedures and processes.
  • Identify, explore and research new sales opportunities to include season ticket and group sales target markets.
  • Continually develop the Ticket Sales program in the following areas: new business generation, sales leadership, development of sales strategies, sales training, development of best sales practices and results tracking and reporting.
  • Track and report daily, weekly and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability reports. Handle all bookkeeping, commission reporting, staff payroll processing etc.
  • Assist with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions and programs. 
  • Provide recommendations to RFL & Clubs on marketing, promotions, sales strategies and community ticket/ sampling programs etc. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • An established, aggressive, and successful salesperson with proven self-motivational skills 
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for sales and creativity.
  • Proven written and presentation skills.
  • Possess a degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 2-3 years of sports ticket sales experience, and at least 2 year in Ticket Sales Management/ Team Leader preferred.
  • Experience with Ticketing Software preferred but not essential.
  • Must be able to communicate equally well with executives, staff and fans at all levels and be comfortable in a very close supervisory and intense training environment.

Position Overview:  The Manager of New Ticket Sales should have a track record of success in managing a Ticket Sales team. This Manager will oversee a staff of up to 15 sales consultants.
