Position Overview:  The Aspire Group seeks a teachable, positive, and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports industry leader. This role will support The University of Toledo FRMC through marketing analytics and communications. They will be responsible for timely administration and FRMC support through day-to-day leadership. The Coordinator, Database Marketing will be expected to remain current on e-mail marketing best practices including: contact strategies, data capture and campaign analysis, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM compliance. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, creative, and analytical thinker who excels in applying marketing and organizational skills to a rapidly changing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts email campaign setup, targeting, data monitoring, scheduling, tracking, testing, and deployment
  • Works with marketing partners and affiliates to ensure material delivery and consistency
  • Oversees and manages the CRM system
  • Develops strategy for revenue growth by utilizing available data; enhances data, grows and segments database
  • Recommends process improvements for role
  • Provides and analyzes daily reporting
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • 1-2 years of experience in e-mail marketing, direct marketing, database marketing, advertising, or marketing research
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • General understanding of enterprise level reporting tools
  • Basic understanding of direct-to-consumer business, affiliate marketing, CPA marketing, competitive/business environment and consumer behavior
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen ability to collaborate internally/ externally; conceiving, creating and executing marketing plan designs
  • Ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, changing environment and be able to make decisions independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desires continued personal and professional development

Compensation: Competitive base pay, plus commissions based on meeting weekly sales goals.
